Salthill/Knocknacarra are winners of the Connacht GAA Hurling U-12 Team Skills Competition 2015-
Connacht GAA Coaching recently ran the inaugural U12 Hurling Team Skills competition, which was held in the Connacht GAA Centre.
Contestants from all five Connacht counties were present – with the winners and runners-up from each of the five Connacht county competitions invited to attend. The contestants on the night were Tooreen HC and Caiseal Gaels (Mayo), Naomh Eoin and Coolera/Strandhill (Sligo), Four Roads and St Dominics (Roscommon), Ballinamore and Carrick HC (Leitrim) while Salthill/Knocknacarra represented Galway. All nine teams consisted of 4 players who were put through their paces on passing, catching, soloing and scoring. In the end it was Galway representatives Salthill/Knocknacarra who took the title with Tooreen (Mayo) finishing as runners-up.

The Tooreen (Mayo) side who were runners-up in the inaugural Connacht GAA U12 Team Skills Test challenge which was held at the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Bekan recently.
