The Electric Ireland Connacht GAA Minor Championship throws in this Saturday, 25th June, at 7pm in Markievicz Park with the meeting of Roscommon and Sligo. These two teams met in last years semi-final with the Yeat’s County emerging as victors with a 1-14 to 3-5 win over the Primrose and Blue. Roscommon who have already captured the Connacht GAA Minor league this year, defeated Sligo in Round 2 of the competition on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-7, a game played in Markievicz Park. The semi-finals of the Minor championship are scheduled for Wednesday 29th June with the Provincial final set for Pearse Stadium on the 10th July.
