Galway hurlers ran out easy 1-22 to 0-12 winners in Tralee against Kerry in Division 1B on Sunday, with Joe Canning hitting 9 points including 3 from play. The Tribesmen only led by 3 points at the interval against what would have been perceived to be much weaker opponents, but after the break they showed their superiority and in the end ran out comfortable victors. They now stand joint second with Limerick in the table behind leaders Wexford, after winning 3 out of 4 games. Next up they travel to the Gaelic Grounds to play Limerick in a crucial game at 3pm on Sunday 26th of March.

In Division 2B, Roscommon and Mayo unfortunately remain rooted to the bottom of Division 2B without any wins. Roscommon were beaten by Derry in Celtic Park 3-16 to 0-12 and Mayo were defeated in Ballina by Meath 2-19 to 0-15. In the next round of fixtures the two counties will meet each other on 26th of March at 3pm in Athleague.

In Division 3B there was an all Connacht affair, with Sligo beating Leitrim 3-17 to 1-15 in Ballinamore. This was Sligo’s first win of the league this season, with Leitrim still searching for their first win. Next up Sligo host Longford at 1pm in Markievicz Park and Leitrim travel to Brewster Park to play Fermanagh at 1pm, both games taking place on Sunday 26th of March.
