In the Intermediate Championship,  Shamrock Gaels defeated Enniscrone Kilglass in the county semi final in Bunninadden Park 2-8 to 0-9. They now face Curry in the Final, which will take place on the 21st of October, also in Bunninadden Park.

Cillian O’Connor kept his nerve with the final kick of an enthralling semi final to force a replay for Ballintubber with reigning champions Castlebar Mitchells, as the sides couldn’t be seperated after extra-time 1-12 apiece. The replay will take place next Saturday at 7pm in MacHale Park. Breaffy booked their spot in the decider after a 1-13 to 1-10 victory over Ballaghaderreen in the other semi final.

It was county hurling final day in Roscommon, a lightening fast start setting Althleague on their way to dethroning Four Roads as County Champions after a 2-11 to 1-11 victory. In the county Junior Football semi final, Kilglass Gaels defeated St Michael’s 1-14 to 1-8 to advance to the county final.

In Leitrim, Glenfarne/Kiltyclogher bridged a 27 year gap as they defeated Glencar/Manorhamilton 0-9 to 0-7 to lift the County Junior Title after a hard fought battle.

All Ireland Champions Corofin had too much in the end for Caherlistrane, winning out 2-10 to 1-6 despite being held 1-3 each at half time.
